A Statutory Demand is used before insolvency proceedings are issued either against a limited company or an individual.
* A statutory demand should only be used if the debt is clearly not disputed or a County Court Judgement has already been obtained
* We will instruct a process server to personally serve the Demand as a matter of urgency
* The debtor has 21 days from the date of service to respond
* If the debtor does not respond then a Bankruptcy petition can be issued
